Most pressure cleaning businesses in Brisbane price by the job, based on the area and how hard it is to clean. A small courtyard and a long, mouldy driveway on a sloping block are very different jobs, even if they look similar in a photo. These are the things that make the biggest difference.
1. The size of the area
Size is the main factor. We measure the area in square metres by satellite from your address, so you don't need a tape measure. Walls and fences are measured by length and height, and houses by size and number of storeys.
2. The type of surface
Plain concrete is the quickest to clean. Sandstone, timber decks and roofs need lower pressure, more care and sometimes a soft wash, so they take longer.
3. How dirty it is
Light dirt comes off fast. Thick black mould, lichen, oil, rust or years of build-up need pre-treatment and extra passes. Oil and rust stains are usually priced as an extra.
4. Access and setup
Steep driveways, lots of stairs, two-storey walls, tight side paths or no outside tap all add time. If there's no water on site, we can bring our own.
5. Narrow areas vs open areas
100 m² of open driveway is quicker than 100 m² of narrow paths with edges, steps and garden beds. Paths and detailed areas take more time per square metre.
How to get an accurate quote
- Send 2–3 photos of each area: one wide shot and one close-up of the worst spot.
- Include your address so we can measure it by satellite.
- Tell us about stains, sealed surfaces, or anything you're worried about.
We'll reply with a fixed-price estimate, usually the same day. The final price is confirmed on site before we start. If the job turns out bigger or smaller than it looked, we tell you first.
Ways to save
- Combine jobs. Driveway, paths and house wash in one visit usually costs less than separate visits.
- Don't leave it too long. Cleaning every 1–2 years is quicker and cheaper than removing years of build-up.
- Ask about regular maintenance if you manage a strata or commercial site.
