How we clean it
Prep
Windows and doors closed, garden beds wet down, and anything fragile moved away.
Soft wash
A low-pressure cleaning solution goes on from the bottom up and kills mould at the root.
Detail
Eaves, fascias, gutters (outside), window frames and sills get extra attention.
Rinse
A gentle rinse from the top down, then plants are rinsed again.
Surfaces we clean
Good to know
Soft wash means low pressure plus a cleaning solution that kills mould at the root, then a gentle rinse. It lasts longer than blasting and won't strip paint or push water into walls.
Older homes (pre-1990) may have fibro or asbestos sheeting. We check first and only ever soft wash these.
Already-flaking paint can come loose during any wash. We'll point it out before we start.
What affects the price
- Size of the area (we measure it by satellite from your address)
- Surface type — sandstone, timber and roofs take more care than plain concrete
- How dirty it is — heavy mould, oil or rust needs extra treatment
- Access — steep blocks, stairs, two storeys or no outside tap
Send photos and your address and we'll send a fixed-price estimate, usually the same day. We confirm the final price on site before we start. More on pricing →
House washing FAQs
How much does a house wash cost in Brisbane?
It depends on the size of the home, number of storeys and access. Send a photo of each side and your address for a fixed-price estimate.
How often should I wash my house?
Every 1–2 years for most Brisbane homes, more often in shady or humid spots.
Is soft washing safe for paint and render?
Yes. It uses low pressure, so it won't strip paint or force water into walls.
Do I need to close the windows?
Yes, please close windows and doors before we start.
Is it worth it before selling or painting?
Definitely. It's a cheap way to boost street appeal, and painters need a clean surface anyway.
Do you clean inside the gutters?
We clean the outside face of gutters. Clearing leaves from inside isn't included.
